This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
This is one wild lookin' beast! It looks like from your reference that the ridges on the horns are regulated more toward the front edge and aren't quite as wide (side to side) as you've modeled them.
Thanks for posting the wire, rotbol. Your model is coming along really well. Definately think that the horns are beginning to take shape. Looking forward to seeing that crazy beard.
you can apply two different shaders to selected faces in Maya .. I just figured it would be easier to do the 3D paint / zbrushing if you are gonna do that if its one big object
