This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Good news, guys, I'm going to be getting a copy of the PS2 version of the game my studio just completed. I'm going to do my best to get it signed by everyone involved and offer it as a prize here. But dang it, I'm going to need a REAL competition! People need to enter! I can't give something like this out to the one guy who finishes, you know?
it's a game with game art. i must admit that i'm not sure what that entails, either... the way i see it, as long as i include a game character or vehicle i can claim it to be 'game art'... so can i do sonic the hedgehog sitting on the can waiting to flush? that would be a powerful weapon as i see it... after all that running through levels, damn.
Sorry, vin, this one will just be this month. The next month's challenge will have the signed game for the prize, though, so that might make it worth it to you.
Yeah, I wasn't too happy about how things went on that challenge, but if it's any consolation, I'll personally be handling the challenge prizes from now on. And I'll do what I can to not just have my books be prizes. I'll try to do other things for prizes. Just won't be $400!
i'll definitely be in for next month with the signed game and everything. to be honest it's more for the guidance, crit and practice than anything else.
i'd have done this months one even though i have all your very excellent works gracing my shelves but alas, i have way too much on till dec 5th.
