This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
i actually went and had a look, had nothing to do with the second spotlight (surprise surprise) when i increased the intensity if the second spot it made the 'dust' more obvious is all
good fun, but I want to know is how Matt made the clouds.., is there anything worth while in the visor or is manipulating fluid simulation the best.., any tuts on this (I mean a page or two, not another 8 hour intensive.., but even that would do.., )
I was thinking of sneaking this into my advanced multi-media course at uni, an animation, just simple rotation, but it would be boring without clouds
Cheers Matt, thats great, I'll use it for advanced (??) multi-media.., its 2D textures but I think a 3D thrown in wont hurt.., decoded to flash to put on a web page, port-folio thing.
theres been 209 views here and only me and Matt have had a go at the bat signal.., come on you voyeurs, what have you got under the bat hood..???
ps, Matt, have fun with the clouds..???
lately my head has been in the clouds, as usual uni is killing me.., i had a friend do some incredible music for a little go nowhere doco, 8 min.., he did it for free, the guy who is doing the doco doesn't want it, he wants something that 'sounds like flying over water,'...???
Im having second thoughts about post production in general.., I think id rather torture myself than let others do it to me.., ill lse friends like my composer friend unless I can protect him (and any other assets) from the like of this kind of thing.., there must be a forum somewhere about this kind of post production whinge?? anyone know of any..
thats no problem mate, I'll do a tut as soon as I can. Like many of us I am totally busy, uni is torture this time of the year but I will do something for you. It will take a few screen grabs and explanation.
Some of the others are welcome to chip in here too.
you can start by learning the decay regions on the spotlight.
That'd be sweet as if you did a tut in your spare time thanks ...
Uni torture? Lol make it sound like uni is jail cell, haha just kidding ... :p
Matter of fact i cant wait to get to uni, i will be in about a years time from now, atm looking at some courses
which might help me out abit
uhi? what a trip.., i got om a train 4 years ago and wow..?? a life changing ride.., incredibly posative experiance and increible for the mind and plans and.., man you will love i and hate it.., its worth being excited
flinders uni, 4th year, BCA Honours, post sound. its torture, im mixing at the moment.., never stops this time of the year. Everybody wants you. you do production you are tortured by others, you do reseach, you torture yourself.., but its that tortore that gets things done and creates works of art.
good move, good on 'yu
ill get that done soon. not too difficult for you.
