Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

yeah i'd fix the facial expression, give her a small smile, or a grin, make the eyes not so wide, even though it's a cartoon the wide eyes are scary looking. and the previous advice from LauriePriest. Other than that it's looking good.

thx very much guys, great support!

I have created a facial expression to make it more interesting.

Not finished but is the final update.

Thou comments are still welcome.

I have also noticed if i render transparant images that i should switch my background collor when rendering to the collor that i will be using for the background, to create a nicer alpha edge.

For some reason i knew about this but i always forget.

oppose the shoulders user added image, right shoulder down, twist the rib cage towards the camera and rotate the spine so her head is closer to being in line with her left foot user added image!!!!

ok i have now updated the spine twist, so that you see more that she is in running mode, meening closer to the front foot.

Only i'm not sure why your saying right shoulder down.

As i'm following my animators survival kit correctly it says the shoulder rotates down towards the arm that is forward not reversed?

Or am i reading this rong?

because the elbow is down of the left arm, the shoulder rotates down towards the elbow in the front direction.

If you could explain this a bit better to me that would be great.

And i thank you very much for your great support!!!!!!

Much appreciated.

edit btw the image is not yet rendered.

This looks great. Would that be the yellow brick road?
