No worries. After looking at the maya.rayrc file, I compared it to the one in the instructions. I then removed the remark symbol (#) from the lines that were coding, and added the extra lines mentioned in the instructions. That was pretty much it. I've attached another copy of the file where I've indicated what I added with '<--' and notes, so you can take a look what's changed.
