Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

gster - thanks for the tip mate - i'll check it out. user added image

murambi - actually zbrush doesn't have a problem with triangles and in any case, it converts geometry to quads and triangles when you import it.

If he was wearing a suit I could see him in a grave yard (don't know a lot of people who've been buried in a t shirt and jeans user added image I see him trolling around in the mall after hours. Looking good.

whenever i used to import models with triangles into zbrush it used to say it would convert but all it did was create holes where the triangles were........maybe i was doing something wrong

murambi - i'm no expert on zbrush, but it sounds like maybe the vertices on your model weren't merged. also, try using the clean up tool to make sure you don't have any problem areas or non-manifold geometry.

oh yeah - sean of the dead was pretty funny. user added image

I'm interested in the process for zbrush, its one of the programs i'd like to learn a bit more about.

excellent work arran user added image I like it allot.

Only comment is that the ear looks kinda flat, no depth.

And the following might be personal but i feel the ear is small, could be bigger. But thats an personal opinion user added image
