Well Rage is right in that the more times you go through it, the easier it will get because you've done it so many times before. That holds true for even doing tutorials. I was going through Maya Fundamentals the other night and after things not quite working out the way I wanted, I re-did it my own way with the same techniques and I ripped through it in half the time without any problems.
