I've always pronounced it "Line-Ucks" could be the Alabama comming out in me though?

any idea how Linux runs on AMD machines?
granted, i know Intel chip-sets are actually starting to beat AMD once more, AMD is now more worried about improving the ATI GPU's since they acquired them, but non the les, i prefer the stability of an AMD machine over Intel.

Linux should work fine on AMD generally. Many of the computers at my work are linux on Opterons I believe.
