In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

is that texture stretching? I think you are pushing all of your bump maps too far.

I have no idea how to accomplish this (and I see it's still a WIP) but water coming out of an outside faucet generally has a frothy, turbulent look whereas this is still nice and clear. What happened to the rope user added image ?

You are right stwert still working on the water not as easy as it looks, the rope was left out of the way as I try to sort out the water, the rope was coverted to ncloth but is not hanger of one side corretly..........dave

Edit:not hanging on both sides correctly

By smoothing(add geo) the mesh of the rope and the bucket that mainly fixed the ncloth merging.......dave

Is it me, or do the bricks seem alittle out of proportion? Almost too big? Also, the bump map doesnt seem right. The mortor/cement between the bricks should recess in alittle from the bricks. Just doesnt seem right to me.

Why not try using fur for grass? It can be more flexible/customizable. Just a thought...

hmm I would try fur too dave...still looks good though. The only crit off the bat is the texture on the stones are identical (I know I do it too) maybe just move the UV's around so they have a different take on the texture? Nice work mate

cheers bullet
