Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

what I was thinking was of maybe cuttiing the front end up into seperate panels, especially were the cock pit is, by using extract then working on them individualy?

Just an idea!!

Wish I could help...think I made it up really when I did mine. I'll have a check through my refs later. (On mobile atm)

edit...nah. Nothing good on the main rotor. Have this for the back one though, which isn't bad I guess...

The ref I worked mainly off for my hind was all on one web page which I bookmarked and referred too, rather than saving the images and opening them in Maya. Think they're on my vista...I'll see if they still exist later.
