Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

In the wake of Dark Knight rises both this an total recall have been given the shit end of the stick with reviewers.

Seen both, enjoyed both and both are better than the prev versions. (And I love Arnys recall)
Story wise both don`t break any new ground, but effects are great in both - summer popcorn movies.

Yeah, just saw it... it's good, quite entertaining. Very violent and bloody, especially the slo-mo stuff. Definitely an action movie, there's not a lot more to it than that. But I thought it was a thumbs up. Haven't read the comics, so I can't give that perspective.

Previews seem kind of corny to me but I'll wait to get some feedback from folks in here as I trust you guys more then any reviewers.

I still have not seen the Total Recall remake. I heard that they do not go to Mars in this version? How is that possible?

I really enjoyed Dredd. I think the (comparitively) low budget shows in confining most of the action to one tower block, but the tone and portrayal of Dredd is spot on - at least from how I remember the comics, anyway.

Some great action scenes, and Urban is great as Dredd.

Really hope they manage to get a sequel for this one. I'd love to see what they could do with a higher budget, opening up mega city one and really building the world.
