Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

I get what you mean about the framerate, was more just wondering if it was normal to have it turned off user added image

I'd say just stick with the 480s, though maybe you could poke around and see if you can find a benchmark comparing the 560Ti to the 480 on OpenGL. The 560Ti is a pretty amazing card, for what it is.

After a bit more digging and it appears the reason model 200 or lower geforce gpus are not as heavily impacted is that the architectures of the earlier gpus and the quadros were more similar in the way buffering is handled and is why they still perform well even though other ogl sections of the ge-force drivers have been intensionally de-tuned
