This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Dave, wouldn't that just increase/decrease the thickness of the 'rope' rather then making the knot section tighter, where as when I scale the control verts of the bezier curve inwards it pulls it all together as if you are pulling the knot tighter.
I also have had issues extruding a circle over a curve previously, do I use the 'sweep' tool (if that's what its called)...?
