I'm still going to be here...jeez this place is my home website....Im a shut in!!
Besides everyone here isso friendly...I know we get the occasional riff raff who wont take advice...but really for the most part they are few and far between.
Its always a pleasure to pass on knowledge...as I always tell people that are new to 3d...there wasnt an internet or tutorials when I started so it was all from the software manuals...15 of them in the old alias/wavefront setup for maya back in the day!!!

Yes i remember you mentioning about your dad and Star Wars a long time ago and i know it's really really dear to you personally.
ILM hey ... you are a leader now not a follower so its bound to be a bit scary but if it wasn't and it was all to safe there would be no point in going there. I know and i am sure many here know too that you will do just fine and you will surprise yourself just how ready you are.

I'm usually here every day, or every other day, but I'm mostly in lurker mode. Now days I only log in to post when the mood hits me. Lurker mode is the best.....I pop in a few times a week, i guess i am not that noticeable ..lol
