Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

In short yes - when I learn some new stuff - Order of projects is currently - Power loader, Kain then back to the Zoid. Most of my sticking points is textures and rigging.

The job centre made me do this course as I have been out of work for so long and I very lucky to get on it.

Progress on the shorts details - not sure if I should leave the pockets detached or work them in.

UV mapped the Hat and the head today.

I know we will be using Mudbox on the course so I thought I would play around with it today with the Hat. Quite happy with the result as its the first thing I have really used Mudbox for.

The shader looks too saturated to me.

Just some more practice in Mudbox - detailed the head and hand painted some of it but gave up when I noticed I had painted the details in the wrong direction ( pores going out not in) HAHAHAHAHAHAA oh well you live and learn.

But the UI is so much more user friendly than Z Brush - Thank God.

Jumper Blocked in - this is going to be a cloth object and we not done that training yet so leaving it lose for now.
Bra details also done

Anyone have any ideas how to do her left stocking - I have tried texturing but lining it up is next to impossable. I thik its going to have to be modeled - apart from that and some finger nails on the left hand - I think I am done modellering wise.

Everything done so far

You could just cut the UV boobs out and give them more UV space, mudbox should take care of the seams..............dave

I could but they are covered mostly by the bra and then will be slighty by the jumper, same for the ears that will be covered by hair. But then ain`t I right in thinking that mudbox would also help with these strecked areas anyway. I know none of the uv`s must be over lapping for mudbox to like it and I have hidden most boby seams inside the jumper.
