This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

too expensive for the non power users and too few improvementrs in modeling section.

what do I care - i still have almost 30 months to complete paying my Complete version..

i've found that compaqs and HPs suck alot. My friends computer is a 2.53 mhz 1 gig of DDr and it runs slower than my 533 256(DDR)!

Hmm, I wouldn´t go as far as saying they suck. (Since mine doesn´t .. she still goes all the way to hold Photoshop in place) :p

I think what sucks in my case is the fact that I don't have the financial resources to keep up at the moment with Pc trends. I just have to work with what I have, even though at times it might become non-productive. In any case, I firmly believe I just need lot´s of RAM, and a better Graphic card.

900Mhz still works excellent with many Image editing applications.

By the way, since I bought it, I only had one HD drive failure. They picked the computer home, fixed, delivered it back in three days ... at no cost. So if I ever went for another, I believe it would be with another Big guy ... maybe Hp again.

As of your friend's computer, might be lot´s of factors at work there (benchmark it appropiately) .. however, I find it hard to believe.

i dont think MR can render fur, theres been no mention of it, only the support of subd's and paintfx, and lets not forget global illumination
