Black Robe- i know ... but in the reference picture i have i only see 6...and even if there is one at the backi dont theink my model would look good with more legs.. it will be too crowded...
AH yes see, i lived a lot of my life on the beach at my cabin.. where i played with these crabs a lot.. they do have 6 legs, some crabs do. THe biggest crab in the world is bigger than a car hey? If i can find a picture i will show it.

Wow, listen to this.. i got this from the guiness world records 1997 book. The taka-ashi-gani or japanese spider crab, is the largest marine crustacean in the world. THe largest specimen on record had a claw-span of 3.7 M (12 ft 1 1/2 in). :O, HUGE.

Ive got my encyclopedia open infront of me and the crab has 8 legs and 2 claws, maybe this differs between diffrent types of crabs.And, I have to see a picture of that giant crab! :O
Yea blackrobe.. most large crabs have 8 legs, 2 claws... i was just saying that its not the same for all crabs . Anyways, the one hes modelling, should probably have 8 legs, as the majority to.. k, cya. about the picture, i cant find a piture of that large large one, but i can visualise it .. eek.

hey M- yep you are correct! I did a pencil sketch- scanned it into PS- darkened it using the levels tool- copied it into the alpha channel- inverted it- made a selection out of it- made a new layer and filled the selection- and painted on a blank layer beneath it.
