Heh, this is great! Kurt, I agree with you, Danny's scripts are incredible! What's funny is I just made a tutorial on using them for UV layouts. I don't want to take over your thread or anything, but I just wanted to let folks know how AMAZING Danny's scripts are. Check the tutorial links on this site, or better yet, go here UV101.zip to download the file directly. It's a pdf file and pretty much tells you all you need to know about UV mapping. Of course with Danny's scripts it makes it infinitely more easier to do. Saves time too.

Also there are models with the UV101.zip file that I used for the tutorial. They're saved from different times of the tutorial so you can follow along. Danny did an amazing service for everbody, and I want everyone to see how much easier his tools make messing with UV's. user added image

Here, let me show you how cool they are.

I apologize Kurt if this isn't appropriate. I just didn't want anyone to sluff off Danny's scripts as not being useful. IMO, they are one of the coolest things I've ever seen. heh...

PS: Make your character do the moonwalk. That would be great!

Absolutely. He didn't seem to have a problem with it when I chatted with him earlier today. He seemed flattered.

I dunno, maybe I'm too excited or something. But they are incredibly helpfull!

If anyone doesn't know where to get Danny's UV tools, either check his site at www.dannyngan.com, or check out this sites mel scripts, or get them at www.highend3d.com. Either way, you'll be glad you did. user added image
