yes i don't think hes done....Blinn, i definately think a rim, and some kind of base wheel to go in under those Tread-scoop things would give it more stability and tough-look. I think that would work well in snow.

Thanks for all the posts. Yes stability will be added, working on that. The idea behind it was to have each black part have a bit of a spring to it. Making the wheels act as shocks as well. It does look a bit flimsy now though.

z1mmnd14 : I started out with a nurbs sphere, then i twisted it about, converted to poly's, cut off many faces, and tweaked the verts.

i'm still thinking having a base of some sort maybe underneath the scoops...

But that would still look pretty mean on the finished model, just looks real empty by itself.

I like it. Allows the snow to move between the wheel so you dont skid... yea... thats what It does.

I love the curves on your wheel - what about a more flowing shape for the body? i also thought it might look good to put camber on the wheels - anything to give it an agressive alive look to go with those organic mech shapes on the wheels

Whoa. I love that. That is cool. It looks like just and image plane of an icy forest was used for reflection.
