COOOL idea.. sorry you have to render it from a slightly downward angle so we can see those hover jet big lumps of coolness in the final render

very nice, love the lights.. im gona add some to the sides of my ship i think.. im juts racking my brain for my ideas. i really surgest people dont use smoothing... i would just use bevel and add geometry.. or use subdivs.. but smoothing doesnt leave taht nice a mesh .. and you often get geometry where you dont need it

If you look at my concept drawing it SUX. Now i'm not saying this in a self-bashing, no self esteem way, it really is very simple. took 2 min in photoshop. But it really helps you get what you want! I'd like to stress this for those of you who don't sketch.

im not sure how your going to do it but i would try to make the hover parts more obvious as overwise it just looks like a missle launcher tank thing.

Also the part around the side window looks like a smooth doesn`t belong there, or maybe add mnore of an edge?
