Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
i know it just a draft but the head is a bit to large compared to the body in my opinion.. makeing the head smaller would make the whole thing look bigger
Try modelling the foot seperately. Start off with the hand tutorial on SM here or something.. but edit it to go with your dino. Or start with a sphere.. then smush it.. pull it out with a lattice and then add in other morphed spheres on the bottom for the paws.. then i would suggest just tweaking it from there.. then add it onto your leg
