for using the dual opterons, what board are you using? i'm having a heck of a time finding one that will work out for me. most so far seem to have just pci slots, no agp. i did find one, but by the looks of it it may be a supply company for businesses.

checked it out, but the thing is, just want the motherboard. i've checked out the boxx computers, even configured one. however i think i can build one for cheaper. obviously the only way to do that will be finding a good board somewhere.

Well I think I've finally found the board to use:

I'm not quite sure why it took so friggin long to actually find one for sale outside of a business to business seller. I might finally be actually able to build it. Anybody know what would be the best heatsink and such for the opterons?

Hey InvaZimm, that's the same exact board that I bought... I havent tried it yet because I"m saving money right now for the CPUs...

and I think the Heatsinks that come with them will do just fine

cool, yeah it ook me forever to find that board at some place that was actually selling it, rather than just giving info. it should be sweet, just purchased all the parts the other day, ran me a pretty penny, but still going to be a great machine to use. now there's the terrible time and anxiousness of waiting the few days to receive it all.
