Took alittle break from the car itself. Made the air filter. I know it needs alittle work, but its not going to be seen close up like in these renders, so, itll do for now. Next Ill make the air intake tube. :o

Looks awesome! Are you going to detail it more once you go into Nurbs? like the body itself?
(Since i'm a lightwaver i'm not so sure how Maya's Nurbs/Polys work)

Right now, everything is mostly polys, and a few sub divisions. Trying to keep away from NURBS this time. They get kinda buggy for me, so....Yea. Im going add more detail later on. I just want to get everything layed out first, then Ill go back and refine it all. user added image

don't know much about sound systems, but why put it in your boot? shouldn't it be inside the car?

now you're starting with the part that interest me, engine.
all the best for that...

Yea, by putting the system in the trunk, you can get alot more power out of it (because of the room), PLUS, it looks ALOT NICER!!

Nice layout in the back but you should strap a 12 disc changer to the underside of the hood manuser added image

Twisted: A 12 disc cd changer, under the HOOD....? user added image Itd prolly get too hot and start melting under the hood. I MIGHT put it in the trunk.

Lisa_G: Yep. Plan on doing it all the way. Texturing and all!

ok, i've got to ask..
if you put it in your boot, how do you hear it when you drive the car? play it too loud?
or do you have to stop the car and open the trunk to hear it?
