Ok I am going to have a break from modelling and try to start on some of the texturing. I currenly do not have a tablet and so am unsure as to the best way to go about this. I am going to try texturing it with stock photography which I will tweak in photoshop but am unsure if this is a good way to go about it. The texturing process seems to be an area I still have a lot to get to grips with since good texture artists seem to be able to really bring there models to life. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to go about gettiing good results with the texturing process it would be much appreciated.
Does anyone have any tips for creating realistic light sources for the interior. I am unsure what amount of light the instruments should be giving off and want to create as realistic a feel as possible. I am currently using area lights for each lcd pannel with default settings and have 1 point light on the ceiling.
Not sure if I can manage to make these characters look how I would like but might give it a shot. Bit of a rush job but here is a quick attempt at the joker. Might do batman as well depending on how it goes.
A big thanks to vladamir for his time and help with my rig. I have now got it all set up thanks to his help and have bugun painting the weights. I will then move onto creating influence objects and blend shapes to try and get things working properly. Not sure how things are going to work out but at least I am learning new stuff as I go. Fingers crossed I will have some stuff to show soon.
Thanks for all the kind words from everyone so far and for all the help it is much appreciated.
Ok I have painted the weights on my low res geometry but am having trouble with assigning it to my high res as a wrap deformer. I have posted a question in the animation forum and would be v appreciative of any thoughs or ideas on the situation.
