The snake body is a bit similar to my project, because I want to make a monster winding around the stand.
Anyhow your work looks really great user added image

Very big Ray Harryie Fan

Ture fact :- Medusa never had been portrade with a snake body before CLASH but is almost always since.

Not had any time for updates latly - got hocked into 24 ser 6

Have you guys seen what the hardcore modeling challenage is at over cgtalk

It a bloody Ray Harryhausen Tribute.

Link here

I was going to be checky and enter that one aswell but there deadline is alot shorter than this one.

Man sod`s law ani`t it. Was looking for a reason to get back to medusa and now I have two. errrrr.

Here`s hoping that someone does not do a kick ass medusa that makes mine look like ****

quick update : added hands teeth and attached a reposed body. also quick render to see what it looked like

man what was i thinking ???

trying to make a snake body without textures, this is going to be hard. heres hopeing i can learn zbrush enough to get it some nice detail on the skin.

also need to start to think about the clothing, bow and the arrow case.

going to do the snakes on head last. that way i know how much room i have left for them.

Looking really good dude!

Im thinking of giving mine a pass in Z brush when I've got everything together to add in some details etc, but I'm a bit worried about the overall file size. but time will tell.

I noticed the hardcore modeling challenge on CG talk

Looks great user added image

The only thing i can see wrong with the pose is that it looks a bit too high. Try having the waist area lower instead of up high.

Good work though user added image

What type of bow are you thinking of giving her?

A long bow would be far to long and look well out of place, I reckon a "horse bow" would be the best bet for her

looking good.. some suggestions .... look at your muscle shapes and forms in a lot of the body back arm and the belly area they are very flat at the moment...

thx for the comments but
if you are looking at the last image it was badly put togeather in photoshop (while i was in work) and is blured but the belly is not flat.

the belly area has got detail of the under side of a snake. no human muscules will be visable. I also think the back arm is fine. just cant see the detail.

plz check the earlyer screen shots for clouse ups of the arms and let me know if you think they still need work.
