This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
well, ya know, just lots of practice makes perfect I'm far from perfect, but that's why I'm still practicing...
i had no time last couple of days, but today i had about 1 or 2 hours to work on the train... Started doing wheels, front wheel need more work, and connecting part is still just a box, but gotta go to school now
I'm going through checking out other's stuff for the first time and I'm asking myself, "What the heck did I get myself into?" It looks really, really good and just can't believe how fast you doing it all. I'll be doing good just to do one model with a little bit of detail. You rock!
Things are getting tough... i reached 2 million poly and my PC just cant handle it... I'm starting to divide it in few scenes... but i dunno how I'm gonna get it all together in the end
Well, I keep working, but i don't know if I'll be able to finish it
Why not sort all of your scene stuff into layers? At least then you can keep everything 'in place' and just turn visibility on or off. You'll only need them all on for final renders. Keep going!
