just an idea for the very background... instead of just rocks
and mountains the casle could be at the edge of a steep rock
with sea underneeth. Where your clouds are now,
i imagined them as sea waves ....

Added more detail to the courtyard.
Changed a few walls.
Made some new textures.

I decided to have a go at changing the mood to a winter scene.

Added my tree I made earlier.
Modified the fog to produce patchy sky effect.
