I had two different sections scanned of the same piece of wood. Because both scans were long and skinny I had to place the images next to each other several times for the texture... without it looking repetative . This was a little time consuming as I had to copy and paste bits, smooth the image transitions, erase sections of layers and colour correct the separate pieces to look right next to each other.
