kurt, about the wings..
when you did the flesh part of the wings that was a single piece of geometry right?
the feathers are seperate to that?
did you make one feather and then make duplicates of that?
what did you do to make sure that the feathers could overlap but not go between each other?

can i see wires of your wings?

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Computer skills I should have:
Objective C, C#, Java, MEL. Python, C++, XML, JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, SQL, CSS, FXScript, Clips, SOAR, ActionScript, OpenGL, DirectX

Yes meat part of the wing is attached to the body and the feathers are seperate

I made the longest set of feathers first then, copied and scaled, then next set all the way up to the top of the wing.

Each feather has a little bit of space between them so if the wing closed they would lay between each other.

Fantastic work Kurt, cant believe I missed this over at CG talk. I have kinda browsed through the entries over their but haven't seen all of them. This one should look great once it's finished, not that it already looks great.

I wasnt sure when this thread started that it meant a challenge on CG society. I thought it probably was, but also maybe it was an SM challenge I had missed. I have been thinking about setting up a portfolio page on cg society for a while, but I wanted to have some better work to put on there. I created a page for myself today on there though, and I saw this B Movie challenge mentioned. I see it has to have an B Movie feel to the work as one of the kind of stipulations.! God. As if it wasnt hard enough!

To be honest Kurt some of the muscles on the horse are a bit off ...

I'm a fan of your work and i'm not even close to your skills ... but i think you can improve the horse a bit..

check what i've compared

A bit more work on the front legs, on the neck. I see a lot of straight lines on the neck. That's odd i think. Some more work on the back legs.
Of course i could be wrong ... i'm still learning the anatomy stuffs user added image

Great work so far..

Check this out
