Hi silverspawn
I think you are nearly there, I think the head could be lowered a bit and the ribs moved forward. I would use photoshop for the main texture and maya to fix seams..............dave:attn:

I started using photos see link feel free to down load it, 1 front and side then using clone stamp to fill in the gaps. When you get better you can start using the filters and masks to make your own textures. if you need any more help let me know............dave

Edit:if you do want to try that texture use the liquify filter to move it around to match your UVs

Thanks dave for that I may just use your texture if you dont mind as I have no great experience with photoshop just a little....one thing I was gonna ask you do you use vue at all or does anyone ere use it at all???

I have been playing with it over the last few days(reason for no updates on my character) do you find it crashes alot??

but will be cracking on with maya later so will let you know how the uv and textures go for the head user added image

I think you are getting there, keep the sole of the feet seperate from the top of the feet all so do the same with the hands, try to spread the fingers out so the seam is in between the finger.do a cylinder projection for the arm and leg and cut so the seams are on the inside of leg and arm...........hope this helps dave

Edit.press the 3 button to see if you are getting any stretching when you have finished laying out your UVs
