Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Wire shot as requested Dave.....
Don't ask me why I smoothed it already (can't remember, I think there was a reason though...) but I guess as I may want to use a displacement map on the final render the added geo will help hold the details a bit.

I've not given up on the Ironman suit, just having a detour for a short while due to work and other commitments again.
Did manage to do a little sculpt this evening though, not finished with it tonight yet though...

lol, thanks Bullet....

Just about done with him for the night, all I want to do is finish off the colouring of his hair, and that'll be him about done, so I will finish him off tomorrow evening I think.
Not too bad for timing, 3 hours (though it was using a ready made base mesh from the Horror challenge.)

Nice stylized characters. Theres a bit too much red in the skin texture, makes him look like he's got sunburn.

Looking good otherwise.

Cheers Steve,

Glad you're liking them, and I'll try and tone down the red a bit next time then, cheers for pointing that out!

Done a little more to the other character too, whilst rotating him I realised that he looked like he was singing from this angle...

Cheers Dave, they are a lot of fun to do!

Been playing with another one, not got his colourings quite right yet, but I'll get there.
