Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Pony, I believe you could work on her proportions to make her look more cuddly perhaps?
That way you wouldn´t have that problem.

Don´t make her look my little Alien though. :p
I love the little dude.

LOL, i love it user added image.. haha. Sorry for the problems pony.. but when i said critter i thought everyone would understand that i meant a small little being.. like a baby version of anything (small arms, small legs, big head, fat) But they can be cool too, like those super deformed gundam robots (thats the real name.. lol) Anyways, if you wanted to do a seal than thats fine user added image. I dont want you to think that this is limited.. like adl said, if you made your horsey more in a baby stage, but could still be cool with breasts and all user added image, then that would be fine. HOpe this clears it up abit and kinda guides you more in the direction you want to go with your character.

BTW, your critter can be 2-3 feet tall... thats fine.

well let me do a action shot of her.. with the acceserys and envirment.. that might help. I'll see what I can do about some other things.. I gess part of the problem is you say baby.. and when I think of human or horse foals.. they tend to be pritty wirey looking really unless there at a helpless stage..

This should help you visualize a bit what I tried to tell you in the other post. She´s d*mn ugly though, but I´m sure you can make a far better rendition. user added image

Look at the way proportions are played with here, and try to apply them to your work mate.

Hum.. well guys.. maybe I'm wrong but I see a problem with this. I would really like to do one that is bulky and soft like adl's pic.. I gess i could go more for that.. but fairys are small and slinder.. so I am having a time visualising what a mix like that would be like .. so what do you say.. should I go for one or the other.. or is there a there option ?

All very nice, but will you actually be able to model and texture her in 4 days??

And here's my update number 3... Not HEAPS has changed from the last one. Done a bit of fiddling mainly with the head, and added some NURBS ridges to the back.

Take a glance at my <a href="https://forums.simplymaya.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9428"><b>Porsche 959</b></a> WIP

Looks wonderfull JB.. looks like your almost done..

I shouldn't take me long at all to make her.. but the textureing part might kick me in the time a@$. but thin agin it might not.. she will be much eazyer to unwrape the UV's from.. than the challenge..
