Complex UV Layout in Maya

okay, I knew that the guns were NURBS but wasn't sure about the rest. I'd say that instead of using the paint tool UV Map it and create the texture in Photoshop. Of course I don't really know how to do this myself... good at least... but there are tuts on this site and if you goto Mike McKinley's site he is the UV master! And has some great tuts! Just find his posts on the site and he has the link there! Anyways good luck and I'll help in as many ways as I can!
