In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

i think you missed a detail on your guitar body. there is this change in plane where the elbow and the guitar meet. its for the forearm to rest while playing. user added image that's why the guitar body on philip's model dont look symetrical from that view... but you doing great. you've probably seen it by now anyway.. user added image

I love Les Pauls/Gibsons. I have a Epiphone, and its awsome. So I cant imagine how a Gibson would be. Im not too big a fan of Fenders. To me, they LOOK cheap. Im sure theyre not, but just how they look to me. user added image

Teles are mislabelled as countryish twang guitars but when I had a totally modular rig (tube preamp and fx processor), I ran one through my friend's old ampeg Bass cabinet and it was the heaviest tone you ever heard...heh. I actually had a sunburst les paul deluxe when I was a teen but thieves broke in and stole it...broke my heart. =/

niice guitar... good luck with that! maybe you could use photos of it for textures. Since you own it you might be able to combine several shots to eliminate glare, and that would add a lot of realism. Great job with the stratocaster, I'm sure this will be a good one~!

It's not much and it's very flat but it's a start and that's enough to get me started so i don't put it off and forget about it.
