The idea is that it is flying when its trying to locate an area for searching in, then it lands and start doing the actual search .. Also if it needs to get on higher ground fast, it can use the propellar.. its not flying very well tho ..

i also think he would need means of propulsion or maybe it could lean forward or just reverse the rotation of the propeler..

Didn't really do much on the model today, cause I decided to play some World of Warcraft instead. Anyway, here is an update:

As you can see, I decided to give it a toe. This version is the first test, cause I am not really happy with the look of it. But I like that the toe is not in front of the foot.

You play WOW, too? It's alot of fun, but it always pulls me away from doing more important things.

Something looks strange with the edges of the chrome. Kind of static/fuzzy.

Cool a new angle. Does the dent in the model have purpose or is just for character? user added image

Cool concept, model and renders! user added image

A few of my friends play WoW too, but I'm afraid to start because I know how time consuming MMORPG's are (played AO and DAoC) and if I start I'll never get anything finished in Maya... Uhh... I probably won't anyway, so... user added image
