Not decided yet man, need to get the cash together, which wont happen till september.

Still considdering the laptop, it will have 2gig of ram so I hope it will be ok. I'm thinbking of getting one similar to arrans new one with the AMD 64 x2 processor in, but alas unsure at the moment.


Is the above from the course you are on?

Pretty damn cool, Mirek! I haven't tried using paint effects for specular color/ground cover myself but after reading your thread I'm going to take a whack at it! Mostly, I've used Spec color as highlights on a UV-mapped object, but never on ground cover!

Lt jim, thanks, ea its a nice effect, a little more work and and animated bump mao and youd have a nice river

gster, i think my laptop is one of those dual prossors, the same size I think, its a wiz bag thing that has got me into trouble finacially, ut very handy, but SLOW after a few lights and stuff in maya.

go with the PC or at least give it a good check out fist, take my word

The one i'm thinking of is a dual core desktop processor in a laptop, it weighs about 5-6Kg and is huge!!

Does your have intel or AMD processors in?
