Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Not too sure about the wings to be honest.

There very small so they wouldent be able to do much in a real creature and make it look cartooney, which by the looks of the rest of the model your not really going after.

Thats my 2 cents, but its up to you.

If it was me I wouls start to work on your main character and leave the monster at the moment, as the main guys going to have more focus in the end produc, as he's the hero.

plz remove the wings. not only will they case you problems if you win they just look out of place. I also think having the sword going though the mouth is also a bad idea.

the model is coming along lovley though - nice work

Well, I also thought about the problems of the wings.
MaybeI'll bring the guy in another pose.
When I've done everything, I'll look how the wings look on the final model.

Would like to see the progress of the main model.

End of the day its up to you but the wings dont do it for me, and I cant see it fitting in the final model, but thats me...

if you wanted to keep the wing-like look, you could just create a hood for the snake creature, kinda like a king cobra. it would be thicker and more natural

This is a good example of where the proposed topology reference thread would come in handy. user added image

I think this is coming along great - are you planning on putting your elf character standing on the rock?

Oh, I havn't seen your comment, it was the last one on the site. Thx for that. As you can see on the sketch, he'll stand on the rock.
