mike got a good look on one of his free tuts , he weathered the tops and sides of the fence posts.

this is looking very cool, is it a set for an animation.., if not you should be thinking about that.., Im sure you are.

can you make a double sided shader for the lamp?

I don't know anything about shares ... any tuturs that i can learn .. yeah it will be animation user added image but need some help with shaders .. and texturing :headbang:

shaders?? I just messed about with a double sided shader, here it is, I hope you dont mind but I think it will work with one of the main themes in your composition., the lamp. I didn't get it exactly how I wanted it but it might give you some clues?? anything you might need to know about this just ask. at the end you can adjust the glow with the 'true' and 'false' settings.

connect 'sampler info' node to 'condition node.., flipped normal to first term

add solid fractile and put some colours on it for the colour of the lamp (outer)
