Sever,
Thanks for the suggestion.
We could try using uploading.com

Sever, lets try how it works. I'm gonna be really busy for most part of the day, but we could actually start transferring stuff.

So, load any file and I'll try downloading it.

k?

Send you the link in a couple of minutes

njon, feel free to PM me your email address; yahoo allows for files up to 10 megs, so this'll go faster that way (I doubt our individual files could possibly exceed 2-3 megs).

I'll start on the headbords then. I made the insets(?) on the drawers a little deeper to better match the ref. I'll post the headboards as soon as I make some progress.

Also, I think my PM is working now. Cheers!

Okay, just to make sure:

1.Anyone who models any object or component, should assign it a unique shader.
For eg. If one models a bed, it has two components:
a.wood bed
b.mattress

The modeler, will assign a shader called say wood (no bitmaps necessary, just blinn gray is fine ) to the wooden frame.
He will asign a shader called say mattress (just a blinn gray again is fine) to the mattress.

2. The texturer/shader will modify those shaders as per his needs.

This will save time and make the flow streamlined.

Another render; let the sim run a bit longer, set a new initial state, and upped the intensity on my GI_Joe render.

Ah...user added image

I was thinking about getting the bedframe from Perfecto, scaling the mattresses to fit snugly, and allow the sim to drape over the mattresses and around the frame.

Alternatively, I could just pass off the mattresses and cloth to Perfecto, but that depends on if he's willing to let his computer spend some processing time letting the cloth fall over the geomerty (5-6 seconds to sim one frame with just the mattresses).

Or I can continue on, make some pillows, stick those on the mattresses, and then let the cloth fall over the pillows and the mattresses...
