Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
Undseth, about the wood beams I don’t know where they are mounted… so I don’t put them in to the scene.
Ereitz, I know, the light emitted from the torch has a noisy look…First I put some noise in the light color texture, but I don’t like the result… so I left it as you see it now.
I know there is enough room for improvements, but is not enough time till the end of this competition…
For example I said that I will put some trees in the scene… there is no tree in the scene because with paint brush tool if I put trees, my render will crash. So I figured out to put some planes in scene with tree texture on it (improve the render time – less polys) but I had some complication with the transparency of the black side of texture (I don’t know why, maybe if you or anybody know, please tell me how to do it right…). That’s why I left my scene without trees.
Any way I’m working on the scene even if the competition is over, I want to make those improvements and make the movie like I said before…with a flying camera…to see all the details
I accept more C & C‘s from you… to make the movie perfect!
When the movie will be finishes I will posted it in forum so stay close…
