I actually still have quite a bit more to do on the modelling side of things, but I should be almost done modelling in 2 days or so. I'm not sure how long it'll take me to texture though.

I see your point about unwrapping the UVs!! user added image But I must say that your Lucifer is VERY impressive!

Well I'm working on the front perspective.. it was a little problematic.. also had a lot of talking to do to someone in the house.. (oh joy). and you now.. power art Naps !!

no really .. my wrist and sholder are acting up a little so I'm taking it slower at the moment.. don't wory. I'll time it for how long it takes to model for ya.. it shouldn't take long at all! I will take a exception for the hair though.. that will take at least as long as getting the body and face done..

BTW anyone have opinions on how the hair should be done ??
I'm thinking more like one solid peace. like more cartoony or painterly on the hair but texture the body more realistic .. ? thoughts ??

for the hair is it possible to make a heap of curves or whatever - I forget how it's done.

Well the problem isn't how to do it.. its what do I want to do.. I can have it just like real hair.. or I can go for a toon look. or a art look.. the art look would be something like what is seen on the Joan of Ark tutorail, on a other unmentioned web sight..

well, given the time constrant - I would probably go for the toon look then. It'd take WAAAY to long to mess about with curves (or whatever it is the pros use)!

Arg, in the rules of round one.. texturing is optional user added image. It can be done in the first round or in the second round.. i think user added image. Anyways, it will definately help in your model, but if you just dont have time, but the model is excellent.. you can stil win user added image.
