This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Great looking Eagleking! It fits really nicely with the background.
I am not sure about voting yet as, although Twisted said that was his final render he did not seem absolutely certain so I am going to wait for him to confirm it.
Well.. im still very new to lightwave and i didnt know we were sapposed to make a background... i never made a background before. And i think we are allowed to cross platform arent we? because... i made abackground in bryce, crossed it to poser for minipulating put it in lightwave and exported it all to jpg. Is that allowed? since those are more built in simplicity?... still seems like unfair to me... so i guess ill try and do it all in lightwave (been working on it for about an 4 hours...

No problem, I just wanted to be sure (someone voted in mine and Blackrobes challenge before either of us posted a final render and I see the same thing is happening here).
I don't think you have to make a background but I think people have if they had time - that's the only reason I built one for my entry. It does not have to be complicated imho it just provides a context for the model and sets off your final render.
I don't think anyone should vote for themselves, even if other people choose to do it. You could always just vote for each other if you want to see the poll without clicking on view results.
well... if you go ahead and vote for yourself it would pretty much nullify my vote. i dont know if my vote was already deleted? cause i did it a while ago. Like... after i uput up my first wip. I just thought it made sense to vote for yourself.. because few people would vote for thier competition.
