This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Sorry guys. I hadn't done anything on it recently because I was trying my hand at some low poly stuff as pictured below. But I'll be done with it today so I'll jump back on the freighter. It's almost done actually, just a few more items to add then texture. I did the low poly stuff to try out some texturing ideas for the big guy. Updates will be coming along shortly.

hey dave what do you think? I was just messing around with an idea of a friend....that wnated a no to far futuristic fighter ship (the good guy is the plane) and an alien fightership (Bad guys in black) im still working on the materials, this was just a test...thanks to the info u provided for Mray...
EDIT:
Deleted Image.
If you can Imagine, Draw it, if you Draw it, Animate it, then it becomes a Masterpiece.....
1. The good guy looks like a modified version of the spaceship tutorial in the Learning Maya handbook.
2. The bad guy looks ok. Kinda reminds me of the talon fighters in Stargate.
3. Your images are once again oversized. Remember, 640x480. Maya IS capable of rendering in that size you know. Just go into the render globals and under RESOLUTION, look for 640x480. OR... If you really have to render that big, then import your image into Photoshop and resize it to 640x480 before posting it. Especially in someone elses thread.
4. In the future, please make your own thread and direct me to it.
