This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
This is amazing. Great work. It would be awesome if you posted a short tutorial on the steps that you took to get the effects (blur, render layers, particles, the flames, smoke, etc...) for a single scene. I think everyone would benefit greatly from your skill and knowledge.
Hey Dude Good job on the rendering! I've also been working on a WWII dog fight for a while. I was just wondering how you made the sky look infinity and where could I get a copy of the HDRI image you used. Thanks!!! Here is a render of my WIP.
Oh, sorry for not answering your post lately... Anyway, I'll see if I can write a shot breakdown tutorial for you guys. Hopefully I'll have it done this weekend and post it on my site...
Cheers for all the feedback!

I didn't realise you had this thread here! I have to say, great animation! Love all the camera moves and angles you see the planes from, and the lost in sun type of enviroment really adds to the animation.
I'm in the process of doing something similar actually, still in the modelling stage but hope to be on animation by next week.
If you don't mind I might have some questions when I come to the rendering stage, but I look forward to reading your tutorial when you have it up.
I hope it will inspire you in the world of rendering. Its not complete at the moment, still missing the section about HDRShop but will add that within the next couple of days.
Any questions, feel free to email me at christian(at)absentdrone.com or send me a PM.
Cheers,
/Chris
