Looking good, Kurt!

Here's my latest, and more than likely, last drawing. It's not done yet, though. I still want to complete her and the background as well, but I thought I'd post for suggestions.

My drawing ability has improved, I think. Still need some proportion work obviously, though. I think her head's a tad big, her right hands a tad small... and other such issues. I suppose it's not that big a deal. :p

Anyway, this is the pose that I'm planning on getting modeled, too. At this point, I don't think I'm going to be able to finish in time for the challenge's deadline, but I definitely do plan on continueing this one to completion, much like I'm doing for Toon Mike. user added image

Thanks, guys!

Looking good bud.... Dont worry to much about the proportion, its a solid concept....I say start modeling and make changes to it as you go if your still not happy with the design.

Aaarg, Kurt... I was modelling then decided to come see how you were doing, I was looking at this for a good 5 minutes and then i went back to my model and its a PIECE. This is amazing, you do model extremely fast and extremely well.. you could get a job with the flick of a finger! But yea, one thing you should buy books on is texturing.. not saying i can do better, just you could of made that model jaw dropping. I think one thing about it though is I was waiting for a "green" orcish type skin.. then i saw this and it threw me by surprise. I like it though, grows on ya.. he looks more like golem. Ok, this is great, mike and you are going to have a showdown seeing that you have until the end of feb. This should be great!.. Lol.
