Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

hi guys!
have been very busy with school but i did something in maya too!!!
i have completly modeled and rigged a character which plays a key role in the clip but i don't want to show pics of him....not yet...

well i also made the windows a bit darker and i thing now it fits with the other colours of the building.....now i model the street and the surrounding where the action takes place!!!!

well i decided to do something on the outwards of the building....its not done i thought....slowly its complete....

If i would write it in mandarin or so noone of this community or surely the most were unable to read it....true thing??

I didnt use maya vector...should i?if so what would be better?

I think there is way too many signs... One big sign at the main entrance would be enough.

The maya vector renderer uses too less of the colour information given in the ramp file of the toon shaders....here is a picture...
But before i wanna say that ill delete all signs except one at the entrance....

yea, youre right about it losing color, but i was thinking there would be something out there that would be better for cel shading...
Your shader makes it look as though someone colored it in with marker or crayon, but mabye thats what your looking for? or mabye i just need to see it animated, but heres a good cel shade pic from zelda..

It seems like their cel shade actually has a layered shade to it, and the shading is a bit smoother, where as in yours its sharper.

For me the whole building was a bit too bright so i made it more dark ...i also added the street and begin to do the surrounding.....

Well we still have a fair bit to do, this is taking longer than I have expected because crappy school is sucking away most of our free time... user added image
