lookin slick

i would chose the black or siler myself - but the red looks nice in he render

the render is lookin nice -some scratches on the tyre woud be nice an a slight shader tweak i thisnk its too relflective an plasticy thn rubber


Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

Ok, here's a first test render. I'm pretty happy with the color, so I'm going to render out a bunch of angles/close-ups, and then start changing the color to test different looks. I'll probably eventually model an interior also, but for now I think this project is almost finished. (Kinda tired of looking at this car for now). I want to render out a 360 degree rotation animation at this render quality. Problem is, it took about 3 hours to render this frame, so do the math, a nice smooth 360 turn would take a LONG time to render.

Thanks man, I'm rendering out a front quarter shot as we speak, but I won't be able to post it until tonight/tomorrow morning. (Got to go to work for a 10 hour shift in a while.)
