Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

cool and thanks, i agree with you both. It's semantics now, take care where you tread.. I am, but here in Oz, well that's just how people talk. We have many many nationalities and all mixed together, though in Sydney, (I'm in Adelaide at the moment), there you can go to a suburb and its like walking into another country, its great not like a ghetto user added image Everyone talks freely and everyone respects another's opinion AND religion. We are big on poiticak correctness (believe it or not !)Theres the usual clowns in the circus (are you pointing that finger at me user added image ) but that happens everywhere. Actually sometimes I think we talk too freely (embarrassing.) user added image

Andreazz, you said, 'Architect, it didn't even cross my mind I could offend anyone by assuming they posessed a certain nationality. Nationality is just a label. A figment of our minds. It doesn't really say anything about who we are as individuals.'

While I have no problem with it, some people tend to cook off when you assume.

On the subject of Ancient Egyptians, their state religion is one that is of extreme interest to me. On one hand, it was intelligent on how it dealt with symbols and stuff, while on the other hand, it was really just state propaganda. Temples would be carved with reliefs depicted everyone's favourite ruler, the son of Horus himself on earth itself smiting Egypt's enemies. Its funny that there are records of people passing out becuase the Pharoah looked at them. It is an example of how things can get corrupted into something else.

Anyway, I don't think this thread is for this discussion so I'll leave it alone for a while for its original purpose (unless people now think its for another purpose).

yea yea, another purpose..,history, Maya history and the ancient ruins of the forgotten city.

and speaking of history and assumptions.., did you know.., that it was assumes for nearly forty years that Warner's went to sound in the 30s because they were going broke until not too long ago when people started checking the facts and found that some woman had written that in a book and people just referenced it for 40-50 years, so a lie was a truth for so long until it revealed for what it was, just someones assumption???

Yeah, architect, Mirek (and others) we've pretty much said all we had to say on this particular subject. I don't feel any urge to react to meaningless statements of age and religion so I'm going to leave this thread for now.
I enjoyed talking to you.

Galadiel,
Why do you believe those things?
What do you mean by energy form?
What do you mean by God?

I have found a new solution in the cleaning department. It is "wet"/moistured paper. It really helps for the hairy ones amongst us.
