Pure this looks great! I loved 8 legged freaks! user added image

how about something like a cemetary for enviroment...dark moonlit night.......... mist rising about tomb stones and maybe a narled tree or two..... all silent... then ya hear the parade of spider legs fade in.. and boom... they come flooding out of everywhere breaking the mist user added image
maybe in the beginning the camera is look through the front gate of the cemetary, an old wrought iron spiked gate and fence... and the spiders come flooding out toward the camera.
just a thought. user added image

ok here's a slightly updated version of the terrain and rocks. It's still a littyle bland I feel. What else can I chuck in there to break things up a bit?

That looks great. Im not sure if its my player or not, but it seems to pause towards the end. A few crits:
On the ground....More grey, less green.
Lighting.....Not too sure here, but needs some fog.

ok the pause was probably the glitch that happened cause i didnt let it finish rendering so dont worry about that one user added image

the ground: really you think? remember that there isnt too much else going on there so if I make it more grey I stand the chance of just having this massive grey area of land.... hmmm I'm mite take a look at that though.

The lighting is a big bone of contention at the moment.... fog could be cool though

cheers

Man im loving this, and your terrain rocks! I love what you have so far user added image. Nice job on the 4 different spider textures.. definately will fix that repetition look user added image.

C+C wise.. maybe look up some spider books and watch some shows on spiders, find out how they move. Do they act like ants, move in a trail? If not then this is looking great... the only thing that struck me is that it seems like the group of spiders path repeats... you have 1 spider that goes to his right and the rest head left... then you have another spider that goes to the right along the same path. I think you should be equaling that out a bit more, trying to get it to look more in sync. Or cut out that second spider that heads to the right. Thats my opinion. Keep up the wonderful work
