It doesn't look realistic since the brick building seems to stand out more than the backgrouund. Your best bet is probably to model your own buildings so that the scene looks more uniform.

Heres a good HDR tut by Steve Tubbrit. It covers just about everything u need to know.

One tip also: never use extreme colors like 0,0,0 and 255,255,255. For white something like 240,240,240 and black 30,30,30.

Turn off shadows for the rear buildings because it looks like they are too close to each other. Also, the texture for the bricks is a higher quality than the surrounding buildings. Maybe turning up the brightness of the textures might help.

Hi man you've come along way with your project it looks rather good, i have some suggestions though so if you don't mind;
-Scale up the background buildings and sharpen the textures in photoshop
-the intensity of the streetlight is to much and since it seems that its daytime it should'nt even be on
:p
- add a sidewalk and a street to the foreground and get rid of the checker-texture
-To get more sense if depth you could use depth of field
- to make it look more real add some extra attributes to the scene(a broken bicycle, garbage, a red thingy that firemen use(i can't remember how it's called in english :headbang: ).)

good luck with ituser added image

The textures are looking good now. I think the sidewalk could use some lines in it, but thats a personal thing. Great job.
